RADIO HAMLET

The tragedy by William Shakespeare

In this play, Hamlet suffers from the Oedipus complex and seeks answers from the Ghost with whom he communicates through radio waves. Hamlet is desperately playing with his gender fluidity. He turns disagreement with what's going on around him into a convulsive dance in thongs. A short skirt, leather pants, tinted eyes, and an earring in the ear - numerous changes illustrate for the viewer the inner anxiety of the hero. In this interpretation, Elsinore becomes more like a branch of Studio 54. Hamlet turns from a victim into a bloodthirsty predator, whose thirst for revenge cannot be stopped.
